Children's Sunday
The children of our church assisted in worship on Children's Day, June 22, 2014, and wrote all of the prayers for morning worship. Here they are during the Children's Message with Pastor Ruth and Bible Guy, discovering timeless truths tucked inside "General Bloomfield's Illuminating, Edifying and Inspiring Bible for Young Minds."
Honoring Bruce Arlett, Sr.
On Sunday, June 22, 2014, the Women's Fellowship surprised Deacon Bruce Arlett, Sr., with an honorary lifetime membership. This is their highest award, given in recognition of Bruce's support of the mission of the Women's Fellowship and his many contributions to the life of the church.

Memorial Day Parade 2014
The 147th Annual Bloomfield Memorial Day Parade - May 25, 2014. An enthusiastic group of members and friends of the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green were proud to march down Broad Street with our first ever parade float--a scale model of our historic sanctuary building. It was a fun day for everyone.

ATLANTIC CITY BUS TRIP - Lots of Fun
The all-day trip to Atlantic City on Saturday, June 21, raised money for the sanctuary renovation project, and everyone had a great time. The organizing team did a wonderful job. Thank you Beverly, Nora, Rachel, Susan, John D., and Marlene, Eve, Charlie and most of all, our MC, John, for making the trip so much fun.

Beef Steak Dinner 2014
Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green's Benefit Beefsteak Dinner took place on April 25, 2014, at the Essex Manor in Bloomfield, NJ. This event raised funds to restore the church's historic sanctuary building. The event included a DJ, 50/50 raffle, lots of beef, and everyone had a good time!
Easter Egg Hunt 2014
The children were having fun at the Easter Egg Hunt after the 10:45AM service on Easter morning!
Bowl-A-Thon 2014
On Friday, March 28th 2014, our annual Bowl-a-thon for 2014 took place. We had a good turnout to support the event. Everyone had a good time and we raised $1,500 for the Building Fund.
Welcome New Members
During worship on Sunday, March 23, 2014, we were delighted to welcome Carlos and Marsha James as new members of the church family, and to baptize Marsha and their three children, Cameron, Tron and Nevaeh. Celebrating with us in person, or in spirit from "back home" in Trinidad, were godparents Nigel James, Ermine Burke, Tijuana Royster, Reyad Mohommade, Melissa Lewis and Wendy James Joseph.

At worship on Sunday, December 22, we recognized 2 new members. We welcome them to our fellowship with its rich diversity of backgrounds, language and cultures as, together, we weave a fabric of faithful discipleship on the Green.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT 2013

Christmas Festival!
On Saturday, December 7th the Christmas Festival took place at the Parish House. Children enjoyed making Advent wreaths, visiting with Santa and his elves, and hearing Santa read a very special storybook. Other highlights included book signing by our authors John Bonnet and Pastor Ruth, a stupendous bake sale, refreshments, and a variety of enticing offerings by local crafters and vendors.

Community Thanksgiving Service
A Community Thanksgiving Service took place on Sunday, Nov. 24, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Montclair, NJ. The event was sponsored by the synagogues and churches of Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, and Montclair, with participation from a number of religious leaders, including Pastor Ruth Boling who delivered the sermon. An offering was received to benefit Toni's Kitchen, a ministry of St. Luke's that helps meet emergency needs in the community.
