Minister Of Music

The Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green is pleased to announce the appointment of Timothy Witzal as Interim Organist/Choir Director. Mr. Witzal is an accomplished classical pianist from Saddlebrook, NJ, who has performed in the Oberlin International Piano Competition and numerous state competitions. He is the accompanist for the Bloomfield Chorale and he plays piano, percussion and other instruments in the Bloomfield Civic Band. He has served in various capacities in the Saddlebrook High School music program including Accompanist/Assistant Director of the Jazz Band, Assistant Musical Director and Accompanist and Marching Band Percussion Instructor. He has served as the Music Director of the Englewood Church Summer Camp and he teaches Keyboard. A candidate for an Associate’s Degree in Music at Bergen Community College, Mr. Witzal holds a Certificate in Audio Engineering and Production from the Institute of Audio Research and works as a Sales Representative and Shipping Manager for Ortofon in Ossining, NY.
