We have reopened our Chapel for Sunday worship! It is good to back “home” in our sacred space to worship the Lord our God. Services begin at 10:45AM. Please wear a mask.
We continue to live-stream the services as well for those who want or need to worship virtually.
To support this decision, we respectfully request that, for the health of the community, those who attend in-person worship be vaccinated. If you are eligible for a vaccine and have not been vaccinated, the Session invites you to continue to worship virtually until you have been vaccinated.
On Sunday, Sept. 19, 3PM, we will host the multi-award winning songwriting trio, The Inspire Project, consisting of Tanya Leah, Ilene Angel & Lorraine Ferro, with an opening set by Bloomfield singer/songwriter Kessaye Selassie. The concert will take place in the round, in our newly established outdoor labyrinth space. Tickets are $10 at the door. Light refreshments will be served after the concert. Join us for outdoor worship every Sunday during September. (The services will also be live-streamed for those unable to attend in person.) Starting Sunday, Sept. 12, worship will begin at 10:45AM. Please email or call the church office by Thursday of each week to make a reservation. This will help us arrange the worship space ahead of time. Masks are required. During September Pastor Ruth will preach a sermon series, “Outdoors with Jesus,” in keeping with the outdoor atmosphere of the services. Here is the schedule:
Communion will be served during worship on Sunday, Sept. 12. If you are worshiping remotely, please prepare bread and a beverage ahead of time and have them ready next to your viewing screen. The elements will be prepared and distributed in a Covid-safe manner to those worshiping together in person.
