The Food Pantry will be CLOSED on Friday, November 28 (Day after Thanksgiving)
The Food Pantry is located on the church premises at 147 Broad Street in Bloomfield at the corner of Broad Street and Belleville Avenue across from Bloomfield High School. We are open 9:30 am to 11:00 am every Wednesday and Friday, and 10 am to 12 noon on the fourth Saturday of the month.
There are no eligibility requirements – anyone who is in need of food is welcome, but we ask that you only visit once a week. Please bring your own bags. The food distribution includes both non-perishable items and fresh and frozen food. It is currently distributed from the Parish House located to the rear of the main building. Parking is available on local streets. Please do not park in the Board of Education parking lot or the church parking lot next to the Parish House.

Donations of non-perishable food are welcome. Please call the Church Office and leave a message to arrange for pickup or drop-off. We also accept monetary donations by making the check out to BPCOG (Bloomfield Presbyterian Church On the Green) and note for the Food Pantry, and mail to the Church address, which is 147 Broad St., Bloomfield, NJ, 07003. You may also donate through PayPal using the “Donate” button on the website page.

The Food Pantry has been providing food on an emergency basis to families in Bloomfield and surrounding communities in Essex County since 1982. We currently serve about 400 families per week, representing about over people. We are grateful to the many community and civic groups and partner organizations for their generous support!
Our Food Pantry is a member of MEND (Meeting Essential Needs with Dignity), an Interfaith Food Pantry Network in Essex County, and The Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
