Vacation Bible Camp Afterglow

Many thanks to all who helped in any way to make Vacation Bible Camp (July 12-18) an awesome week of fun and learning. Each day, campers explored ways that Jesus rescues us: when we are lonely, when we are worried, when we struggle, when we do wrong things, and when we feel powerless. Dinner, music, crafts, Bible discovery lessons, games, skits featuring Pastor Ruth and Ms. Jen, and our KidVid cinema made for a lively program

while we were all “Shipwrecked” together for the week. Campers filled a treasure chest with daily food offerings for our Food Pantry—peanut butter, jelly, spaghetti sauce, canned tuna and canned fruit. Spectacular decorations transformed the Parish House into a tropical island complete with vines, palm trees and a waterfall. Visit the church Facebook Page for photos from each day.

All Church Work Day, Sat. April 28

Come to an all-church spring clean-up and work day, Saturday,  April 28, 9 AM-1 PM, rain or shine.  All are invited.  Grab your tools, gloves, rakes, rags and most certainly your friends and families.  The more the merrier. Fun is the order of the day.  We have jobs to fit all skills and talents (or lack thereof). Not physically up to it? Come anyway for the fun and fellowship. We have yard work, rooms and windows to clean, lights to dust, things to move. The possibilities are endless.  Many hands make light work so come join the fun and fellowship of working together.  Hoping to see lots of you there that morning.
