Welcome One and All
The Church on the Green opens our doors to all. We aspire to be a church that feels "like home" for a first time visitor, but that offers a lifetime of opportunities to grow in faith and service. We welcome seekers and lifelong Christians, single and married people, families of all configurations and children of all ages, dyed-in-the-wool Presbyterians and those who aren't even sure how to spell P-r-e-s-b-y-t-e-r-i-a-n but want to know Christ. We are united in our desire for an authentic faith expressed in acts of compassion and service. Could we be the church you've been looking for?
While our sanctuary is closed for renovations, we worship in our historic Parish House. Ample parking is available in the Board of Education lot on the corner of Broad St. and Belleville Av. Summer service begins at 10:00AM. All are welcome.

The BEEFSTEAK DINNER was a success!
Bloomfield Presbyterian Church on the Green's Benefit Beefsteak Dinner took place on April 25, 2014, at the Essex Manor in Bloomfield, NJ. This event raised funds to restore the church's historic sanctuary building. The event included a DJ, 50/50 raffle, lots of beef, and everyone had a good time!

Easter Egg Hunt 2014
The children were having fun at the Easter Egg Hunt after the 10:45AM service on Easter morning!

Bowl-A-Thon 2014
On Friday, March 28th 2014, our annual Bowl-a-thon for 2014 took place. We had a good turnout to support the event. Everyone had a good time and we raised $1,500 for the Building Fund.

WELCOME NEW MEMBERS
At worship on Sunday, March 23,we were delighted to welcome Carlos and Marsha James as new members of the church family, and to baptize Marsha and their three children, Cameron, Tron and Nevaeh. We welcome them to our fellowship with its rich diversity of backgrounds, language and cultures as, together, we weave a fabric of faithful discipleship on the Green.

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT 2013
The Christmas Pageant, "Remembering Jesus with All Our Hearts," was presented during worship on Sunday, December 15. The children and adults performed together beautifully, helping us all to enter the spirit of the season.

BOOK CLUB
Our Monday evening book group will meet on Monday, May 12 at 7:30 PM in the former choir robe room (first floor of the education building). We will continue our look at Ephesians Chapter 2 by discussing chapters 12 and 13 of Rick Phillips' book "Saved By Grace: The Glory of Salvation in Ephesians 2." We will meet on the second Monday of every month until June. For more information or to get your own copy of this book, please see Glenn Maciag.
SUNDAY MORNING EDUCATION PROGRAM
During May, our Sunday morning adult education series "Foundations of the Christian Faith" will be looking at the great doctrine of justification. We look forward to continuing our great discussions but new attendees are always welcome. Come and try it out once or twice to see what you've been missing! For more information or to get your own copy of our book "Foundations of the Christian Faith" by James Boice, please talk to Glenn Maciag or Bruce Arlett. We meet Sunday mornings at 9:45 AM in the education building.
